12/14/2024: An Update from Melody

Shortly after the Special Election in January of 2024, I updated my commitment to run again and revised my ActBlue account. The next election day will be on November 4, 2025 for the 2026 session. I am excited to have much more time (vs only 3 weeks) to meet with voters and build a campaign.

This journey continues to be enlightening and educational, presenting challenges that have tested my resilience. The experience, though demanding, has only fueled my passion for our community. I am embarking on this journey again to continue making a positive impact on the place I deeply care about: my hometown of Martinsville, VA and the surrounding areas of District 48, which includes parts of Henry and Pittsylvania Counties.
